In the afternoon, head to the Citadel of Saladin, declared a World Heritage Site, which houses the Mosque of Muhammad Ali or “Alabaster Mosque.” Continue with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where the treasures of Tutankhamun are housed.
