Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Mexico City
Arrival at Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City, transfer to the designated hotel, check-in, and hotel accommodation. Dinner on your own.
Day 2 - Mexico City Tour - Coyoacán - Xochimilco
Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a city tour, beginning at the Palace of Fine Arts, then proceed to the main square (Zocalo) where Colonial buildings blend with remnants of the Aztec civilization, such as the Templo Mayor. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, City Hall, and National Palace. Lunch (not included). Continue to the traditional Xochimilco for a scenic ride on a trajinera (traditional boat), accompanied by mariachis and tequila. Visit Coyoacán, including the Frida Kahlo Museum (entrance not included) or explore the town center. Return to the hotel.
Day 3 - Basilica - Teotihuacán - Chapultepec Castle
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, followed by a visit to Teotihuacán to see the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, as well as the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl and the Temple of the Jaguar. Lunch. Visit Chapultepec Castle. Return to Mexico City. Hotel accommodation.
Day 4 - Mexico - Cuernavaca - Taxco
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Cuernavaca, known as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its favorable climate. Continue to Taxco, famous for its silver production. Visit a cooperative to learn about the minerals mined in Taxco. Lunch. Visit the magnificent Santa Prisca Cathedral. Return to Mexico City. Hotel accommodation.
Day 5 - Cholula - Puebla - Mexico City
After breakfast, depart for Puebla, passing by the Popocatepetl and Ixtaccihuatl volcanoes. Visit the archaeological site of Cholula with the largest pyramid base in the world and the Church of Our Lady of Remedies. Lunch. Continue to Puebla to see its colonial architecture, including the Cathedral, Main Square, Rosary Chapel, and Santo Domingo Church. Free time for shopping. Return to Mexico City. Hotel accommodation. Dinner on your own.
Day 6 - Departure
Transfer to Benito Juarez International Airport for departure. Departure time depends on flight schedule.
