Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Nov 23 - Arrival in Lima
Arrival in Lima, welcome and assistance with transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 - Nov 24 - Lima, City of Kings and Larco Museum of Cultures – Cusco
An exclusive and intense tour of Lima’s Historic Center will take us to admire the architectural treasures that form part of this ancient city, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
The Convent of Santo Domingo will be the beginning of this magnificent experience. Built during the foundation of Lima, this convent is also where the University of San Marcos, the oldest in the Americas, was founded. Inside, you will find the oldest choir stalls in the country, and a library holding 25,000 books, some printed in the 15th century with invaluable historical value. The remains of Saint Martin de Porres, Saint John Macías, and Saint Rose of Lima rest here.
Crossing the Main Square, we will admire the Government and Municipal Palaces before entering the Cathedral, a jewel of Lima’s history that houses priceless works of art from colonial times.
We then continue to the Larco Museum, where we will gain a clear vision of the cultures that populated ancient Peru. We will be amazed by the gold pieces, textiles, and erotic ceramics that form part of its collection, offering insight into the ancient Peruvian worldview. The museum’s storerooms will also be open for us to appreciate additional artistic expressions.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Cusco. Arrival, assistance, and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 - Nov 25 - Cusco, Capital of the Empire
Breakfast. Exclusive city tour beginning with San Cristóbal Square, for a panoramic view of the city. We will then visit San Pedro Market, a lively place full of local flavors and products. Next, the Qorikancha Temple will welcome us with its magnificence – its walls once covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, we will walk down Hatun Rumiyoc Street to see the Inca Roca Palace (today the Archbishop’s Palace) and admire the famous Twelve-Angled Stone. The tour continues to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral, home to colonial works of incredible value.

Day 4 - Nov 26 - Inca Town of Chinchero, Moray Terraces, and Inca Town of Ollantaytambo
This day will take us to the highlights of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We begin with Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque village of the valley, famous for its women weavers. A brief stop at a textile center will allow us to appreciate ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. We will visit its Inca square and beautiful colonial church.
We continue to Moray, an impressive archaeological site composed of concentric agricultural terraces that served as a laboratory to recreate microclimates. Lunch included.
Finally, we head to Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca town. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Ñusta’s baths, and the Temple of the Sun. From the heights of Ollantaytambo, we will enjoy breathtaking views that will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley. Overnight in the area.

Day 5 - Nov 27 - Machu Picchu, the Lost City
The awaited day to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Boarding the selected train at Ollantaytambo station, we travel to Machu Picchu station. Our staff will assist you to take the bus that ascends a winding road with spectacular views of the Urubamba River and deep canyon.
The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The energy of this place can be felt everywhere. Lunch included. At the coordinated time, return by train and transfer to hotel in Cusco. Overnight.
