Travel Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kuala Lumpur
Upon arrival at KLIA, meet our driver with the guide and transfer to the hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Accommodation.
Day 2 – Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 2:00 PM, depart for a half-day tour of Kuala Lumpur. The tour begins with a drive through the Perdana Botanical Gardens, followed by a stop at Masjid Negara (the National Mosque). Next, we’ll head to Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), located in front of the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, passing by the historic Kuala Lumpur Railway Station.
We’ll visit Independence Square and take a short walk to Pasar Seni (Central Market), passing by Masjid Jamek, one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest buildings. After a brief stop at Pasar Seni, we’ll explore Chinatown and its bustling street markets.
The tour continues to Kampung Baru, a neighborhood showcasing traditional Malay architecture. The final stop is at KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) for a photo session with the iconic Petronas Towers (no access to the observation deck).
Return to the hotel by 6:00 PM. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 3 – Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 8:30 AM, depart for Malacca, located 145 km south of Kuala Lumpur (approximately 2.5 hours). Explore the historical monuments and colonial sites of this UNESCO World Heritage City.
Upon arrival, begin a walking tour through the heritage district influenced by Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonization. Highlights include:
- A Famosa Fortress and the Ruins of St. Paul’s Church.
- Dutch Square, featuring Stadthuys, Christ Church, and the Clock Tower.
Next, enjoy a scenic cruise along the Malacca River, followed by a visit to the Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum, which showcases the unique Peranakan culture.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Afterward, visit the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple and Kampung Kling Mosque, the oldest places of worship in Malacca. End the tour with a stop at Bukit China, the largest Chinese cemetery outside of China.
Return to the hotel by 6:00 PM and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands

Around 8:30–9:00 AM, pick-up from the hotel lobby and transfer to Cameron Highlands via a scenic mountain road through lush jungle landscapes (approximately 3 hours). Along the way, stop to visit a small Orang Asli settlement to learn about the lifestyle of Malaysia’s indigenous population.
Upon arrival in Cameron Highlands, visit the BOH Tea Plantation and Factory to explore the process behind Malaysia’s renowned tea.
After the visit, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Note: The tea factory is closed on Mondays, public holidays, and the following Tuesday if the preceding Monday is a holiday.
Day 5 – Cameron Highlands – Belum
At 8:30 AM, depart for the royal city of Kuala Kangsar, a 3-hour drive, to visit the magnificent Ubudiah Mosque, one of Malaysia’s most beautiful mosques.
Next, head to the Bukit Merah Orang Utan Foundation Island, the only orangutan research center in Peninsular Malaysia. After a 20-minute boat ride across Lake Merah, arrive at the island, a sanctuary dedicated to breeding, conservation, and education to protect this endangered species.
Continue the journey to the Belum Rainforest Reserve, near the Thai border (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy free time to relax.
Dinner will be served at the lodge’s restaurant, followed by a free evening to unwind.

Note: The visit to the Orang Utan Island is subject to water level fluctuations in Lake Merah.
Day 6 – Belum – Penang
At 8:30 AM, embark on a 2.5-hour excursion through the pristine Belum Rainforest, one of Malaysia’s oldest and most untouched tropical jungles. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to witness the incredible flora and fauna of the reserve. A light packed lunch will be provided during the excursion.
At 11:00 AM, return to the resort for check-out.
At 12:00 PM, depart for Penang, crossing the iconic bridge to reach the main island (approximately 3 hours by road). Arrive in George Town, the capital of Penang, by early afternoon. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, George Town is known for its diverse arts, culture, and heritage.
Check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Note: Suggested items for the jungle trek: comfortable walking shoes, poncho/raincoat, hat, sunscreen, and a small backpack.
Day 7 – Penang
At 9:30 a.m., depart for a full-day tour of Penang. The first stop is Air Hitam village to explore Kek Lok Si, one of the largest Buddhist temples in the region, also known as the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Here, you’ll see the impressive statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Afterward, return to George Town, Malaysia’s oldest city, to continue the tour. Visits include the Burmese and Thai temples, featuring the remarkable Reclining Buddha statue. The tour also includes a walk through Fort Canning and the Clan Jetty, where houses are built on stilts. Next, visit Khoo Kongsi, notable for its ornate roofs and intricately carved pillars. Finally, stroll along Armenian Street to admire George Town’s famous murals. Return to the hotel by 6:00 p.m.

Day 8 – Penang – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Penang International Airport or Swettenham Pier for your departure by flight or ferry. The transfer is scheduled 3 hours before the flight departure or 2 hours before the ferry departure. The transfer is arranged with a driver only.
