Upon arrival in Athens, you’ll be greeted by Spanish-speaking staff and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this city with over 3,000 years of history. The tour begins in the city center, where you’ll see early 20th-century neoclassical buildings that exemplify the purity of this architectural style along avenues such as Panepistimiou, Stadiou, Queen Sofia, and Amalias.

Next, we’ll visit Syntagma Square (Constitution Square), home to the Greek Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. From there, we’ll proceed to the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus, and Hadrian’s Arch.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Acropolis, where you’ll marvel at: The Propylaea, the monumental gateway to the Acropolis. The Ionic Temple of Athena Nike, commemorating victory over the Persians. The Erechtheion, known for its Porch of the Caryatids. The Parthenon, the iconic symbol of democratic Athens.

Don’t miss Aegina’s renowned pistachio market, where you can sample and purchase this local specialty.
