Travel Itinerary
Day 1 – Bogotá
Arrival in the city of Bogotá, the multicultural capital of Colombia. One of our representatives will be waiting to take you to the vehicle that will transport you from “El Dorado” International Airport to the selected hotel. Hotel check-in. Accommodation.
Day 2 – Bogotá (City tour including Monserrate)
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, one of our representatives will pick you up at your hotel to head to the historic center of Bogotá, where a walking tour begins at Plaza de Bolívar and nearby streets, showcasing buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of the country’s legislative life; La Casa de los Comuneros; the Casa de Nariño, the presidential office; and a panoramic visit to the Santa Clara Church Museum. You will enter the Gold Museum, which houses about 34,000 pieces of goldsmithing from various pre-Hispanic cultures. The route goes from the city’s elevation of 2,600 meters above sea level to 3,152 meters, where the sanctuary that venerates the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is located. From there, you can appreciate the best panoramic view of Bogotá. Return to the hotel.
Day 3 – Bogotá – Pereira (Coffee Zone)
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to El Dorado airport in Bogotá to catch a flight to the city of Pereira (flight ticket not included). Arrival at Matecaña airport in Pereira, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel in the Coffee Zone. Check-in and accommodation.
Day 4 – Coffee Zone (Coffee Process at “Finca del Café”)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to “La Finca del Café” to start a visit where we will learn about the Coffee Process with a local expert, going through beautiful special coffee plantations, explaining the process from planting, selective manual harvesting, and depulping. Later, we will roast special coffee beans on a wood stove in the typical rural house kitchen where we can have an authentic coffee experience. During the tour, there are several stations with viewpoints made of bamboo where we can appreciate the beautiful landscape and natural surroundings of the place while enjoying a cup of coffee. Finally, we move to the innovative coffee bean drying process, the beneficio, and then go to the main house where they will bid us farewell with a delicious coffee lemonade. Transfer to the hotel, free rest of the day, and accommodation.

Day 5 – Coffee Zone Pereira (Cocora Valley and Salento)
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to Cocora Valley, where upon arrival you will enjoy a typical drink (canelazo), and an eco-guide will tell you about the place and lead you on a walk through the cloud forest where we can appreciate the biodiversity of fauna and flora of the area. We will take the ecological trail of the world’s tallest wax palm and national tree where we will perform the wax palm ritual of Quindío, which consists of learning about the history of how the indigenous people worshipped this palm. We then continue with the planting of palm seedlings. Transfer to the typical town of Salento where we will have a walking tour visiting its colonial streets, craft workshops, and the Cocora viewpoint. Typical lunch and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 6 – Pereira (Coffee Zone)
Breakfast. Last day of travel before returning home, make sure to take the best memories with you. At the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to the airport to catch a flight to your city of origin.
