Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast, visit three of the city’s most unusual Buddhist temples. We’ll start with Wat Traimit, located at the edge of Chinatown on Yaowarat Road, near the Hualampong train station. Wat Traimit houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The tour will continue to Wat Pho, Bangkok’s largest temple, home to the enormous reclining Buddha and the King’s Chedis. It is one of the largest temples in the city, famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha, which measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold. Transfers are included.
Next, you’ll visit the Royal Palace, which is undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782, it served for 150 years as the home of the King of Thailand, the royal court, and the administrative headquarters of the government. Bangkok’s Grand Palace is an ancient building that continues to impress visitors with its beautiful architecture and intricate details. Within the complex is Wat Phra Kaew – the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram) – considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. It is here that the country’s most revered Buddha image is enshrined, meticulously carved from a single block of jade.
Free afternoon at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Bangkok-Chiang Rai
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Rai.
Arrive in Chiang Rai with your flight no later than 10:00 AM.
Proceed to Chui Fong, a beautiful tea plantation. Surrounded by tea plantations on the slopes of small hills, you can enjoy various delicacies such as tea ice cream, tea cake (at your own expense), and lunch at a nearby local restaurant.
Next, we will stop by the House of Opium Museum before departing for the Mae Chan district north of Chiang Rai. Continuing on foot, we will climb the hills through narrow streets to visit a village of the Akha and Yao ethnic minorities. Our last destination of the day will be one of the Karen villages;
This tribe originally from Tibet migrated to what is now Myanmar about two thousand years ago. During the 18th century, political conflict and persecution are believed to have fueled their mass migration to northern Thailand, where they remain without official residential status to this day. The tribe is most recognized for the Kayan women—a subgroup of the Po (Red Karen)—whose necks are adorned with brass rings. Sometimes as young as five years old, the constant pressure pushes their collarbones and ribs downward, giving the impression of an elongated neck; the reason behind their nickname “giraffe women”—an astonishing sight.
At the end, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, we will transfer to the pier for a longtail boat trip to the lower reaches of the Kok River, visiting the Karen among other hill tribes. Passing through small villages, bamboo huts, and dense jungle, we will explore the area before returning to the pier. We will continue with a visit to Wat Rong Suea Tean (the Blue Temple), another unusual modern Buddhist temple distinguished by its intense blue color and elaborate statues. We will then visit the famous white temple of Wat Rong Khun (the White Temple). After the visit, we will drive from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai (approximately 3 hours).
Arrive in Chiang Mai and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Our final visit will be to the Wat Doi Suthep complex; a magnificent temple located at an elevation of 1,000 meters on the slopes of a forested mountain. Requiring a climb of 306 steps with Naga serpent railings, this sacred temple offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city, as well as a wide variety of images and frescoes for those willing to undertake the climb.

Lunch at a local restaurant will then continue to Monkey Forest, located approximately 5 km or a 20-minute drive away. The Monkey Forest is also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal. One of Ubud’s most popular attractions, this natural forest sanctuary is home to a horde of long-tailed gray macaques.
