Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Istanbul
Arrival and welcome by our representative at Istanbul Airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Bosphorus cruise at night: includes dinner, unlimited local alcoholic drinks, folkloric show, and DJ.
Day 2 – Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby to begin the tour, Istanbul between Asia and Europe. Start the day with a visit to the colorful and aromatic Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, specializing in typical products like sweets, dried fruits, and spices. Then, at Eminonü port, take the boat for a cruise through the Bosphorus, the strait that separates the two continents, Asia and Europe. Enjoy the panoramic views of both continental shores; the beautiful Ottoman villas, Dolmabahce, Ciragan, and Beylerbeyi palaces, Rumeli Hisari fortress, Maiden’s Tower, etc. Return to land, transfer to the hotel.
Day 3 - Istanbul-Ankara-Cappadocia
Breakfast. Departure to Ankara, the capital of modern Turkey, passing through the Bolu mountains. Arrival and visit to the Ataturk Mausoleum, founder of the Turkish Republic. Completed in 1953, it is an impressive fusion of ancient and modern architectural styles. Visit the Independence Museum that houses a wax statue of Ataturk, his writings, letters, and personal items as well as an exhibition of photographs, recording significant moments of his life and the establishment of the new Turkish Republic. Stop for lunch and continue to Cappadocia. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, visit a pottery workshop. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 - Cappadocia
At dawn, there is an optional hot air balloon tour (approx $300 p/p).
After breakfast, visit this fantastic region for its fascinating and unique landscape formed by the lava thrown by the volcanoes Erciyes and Hasan 3 million years ago. Stop at Esentepe to photograph the beautiful Göreme Valley where we will later visit its numerous monasteries, churches, and chapels excavated in the rocks. Continue to the Love, Devrent, Avcilar, and Guvercinlik valleys, which have a spectacular landscape of the “Fairy Chimneys”. Stop for lunch. Then visit one of the onyx and turquoise jewelry workshops. Visit a troglodyte city, Uchisar or Cavusin. Stop in Avanos, famous for its clay works which have been the livelihood of the town. We finish at one of the typical carpet workshops to learn about the manufacturing of this centuries-old Turkish tradition. Dinner at the hotel. Includes a ‘Turkish Night’, a folk dance show in a typical cave with unlimited regional alcoholic beverages.
Día 5 - Capadocia-Pamukkale
Breakfast. Early departure via Konya. Stop at an ancient caravanserai from the 13th century that was part of the ancient Silk Road. After lunch, continue to Pamukkale, a spectacular and unique place in the world for its dazzling white waterfalls and natural pools. Next to it is the ancient Hierapolis with one of the largest necropolises from antiquity. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 - Pamukkale-Ephesus-Izmir (Izmir)
OPTIONAL hot air balloon flight over Pamukkale.
Breakfast. Departure to Ephesus, an ancient Greco-Roman city and one of the best-preserved today where we will visit the Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Trajan, the Theatre, the fabulous Celsus Library, etc. Lunch. Continue to the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last years. Opportunity to visit one of the typical leather factories. Arrival in Izmir. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 - Izmir – Bursa - Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Visit the Silk Bazaar or Koza Han, built in 1491 as a center for the city’s silk industry. We will also visit the Great Mosque of Bursa, with its 20 domes which was, for over 500 years, the largest mosque in Turkey. Continue to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8 – Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Included Ottoman and Byzantine Tour: Visiting the old part where the most outstanding Ottoman and Byzantine monuments are concentrated. We start with a visit to the ancient Roman Hippodrome where the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the German Fountain stand out. Then visit the famous Blue Mosque, the most important in Istanbul and, until 2016, the only one in the world with 6 minarets. We continue to visit the famous Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine art. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Also, visit the Topkapi Palace, the famous and gigantic enclosure from where the Ottoman Empire was directed for almost 400 years. To finish, your guide will take you to the Grand Bazaar. Free time for shopping.
Day 9 – Istanbul - Dubai
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
Arrival at Dubai International Airport, reception by a Spanish-speaking assistant and transfer to the hotel.
Day 10 Dubai - Half Day Dubai - Dhow Cruise (D, C)
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour in Spanish of half a day through Classic Dubai. We will explore the old district of “Bastakya” with its traditional houses and wind towers that formerly served as a natural ventilation system or air conditioning. We continue to Dubai Creek, to cross the Dubai creek on an ancient boat (Abra) which the locals use as a water taxi to visit the Gold and Spice Souks. Continue to the Jumeirah area, where the sheikhs’ palaces are located. We will make a photo stop at the Jumeirah Mosque and at the iconic luxury hotel Burj Al Arab shaped like a sail. We will enjoy a panoramic view of the skyscrapers of Dubai arranged along the famous “Sheikh Zayed” road until we reach the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world and the quintessential symbol of the city of Dubai, where we can take fantastic panoramic photos. Return to the hotel.
In the evening, pick up by the hotel (driver in English) to enjoy a magnificent evening on board a traditional Arabic boat known as Dhow and take a cruise along the Dubai marina with dinner including traditional Arab and international food included and round-trip transfers to the hotel.
Day 11 Dubai – Desert Safari
Day 12 - Abu Dhabi
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit to Abu Dhabi in Spanish, neighboring emirate of Dubai and capital of the United Arab Emirates, which is about two hours away by vehicle from Dubai. From the road, we will pass by Jebel Ali, the largest man-made port in the world. We will visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, known as the Great Mosque for being the third largest in the world and where the tomb of Sheikh Zayed is located. We continue our tour crossing Al Maqta bridge, passing by one of the most luxurious and exclusive areas of Abu Dhabi, the ministers’ area. We will arrive at the waterfront known as La Corniche, often compared to Manhattan for its incredible skyline. Break to have our international food lunch at the restaurant of a 5* hotel. Photo stop at the exclusive Emirates Palace, the most expensive hotel in the world to be built as it is made of gold and marble. We will continue to visit the Al Batee neighborhood, where the Royal Family palaces are located. Finally, we will pass by the famous Ferrari Park (entrance not included) to take photos and do some shopping (approx. 20 min.). Return to the hotel in Dubai and accommodation.
Day 13 - Dubai
Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport with Spanish-speaking assistance
